1. Who we are

These Terms govern your use of Circle Baby Care ("Circle", "the Service"), operated by [Your legal name] ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use Circle.

2. What Circle does

Circle is a baby-tracking web application that lets you log feeds, sleeps, nappies, medications, and related notes, and share that log with people you invite (a partner, grandparent, or trusted caregiver). Circle is an informational tool. It is not medical advice and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical care.

3. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that happens under your account. Please give us accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use Circle for any unlawful purpose;
• attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or circumvent technical limits of the Service;
• upload malware, spam, or content that infringes anyone's rights;
• share your account with people outside the caregivers you invite through Circle.

5. Payments (via Paddle)

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Full payment terms — including billing frequency, taxes, cancellations and refunds — are set out in Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our current pricing is £2.99/month after a 10-day free trial. Prices may change; we'll give you reasonable notice before any change affects you.

7. Intellectual property

We (or our licensors) own all rights in the Service — the software, branding, and content we provide. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service on the plan you've chosen. You retain ownership of the content you enter into Circle (your baby's log), and grant us the limited licence needed to host and process it in order to provide the Service.

8. Service availability

We work hard to keep Circle running, but we can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Liability

Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect or consequential losses (loss of profits, data, or goodwill). Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where such limitation is prohibited by law.

10. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, don't pay, or use the Service in a way that puts security or other users at risk. You may cancel at any time from Settings. On termination, we'll give you a reasonable window to export your data before it is deleted.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we'll notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your country / jurisdiction], and any disputes will be resolved in its courts, unless local consumer law gives you a different right.
