The Ambassador Charter

Short, plain and honest. This is what we promise you, and what we ask of you. Ambassadors acknowledge this charter when they apply — there is nothing to sign, no contract and no fee.

1. What this programme is

We don't ask you to sell anything. There is no affiliate scheme, because we price the app so that parents get the best price from day one — not so we can fund commissions.

You bring expertise, not a sales quota. Your knowledge is worth more than a referral link, and what we give back is a platform, a growing audience, and a webinar space you control.

No cost. No contract. No exclusivity. You may leave at any time and take your content with you.

2. Freedom of expression

Ambassadors speak in their own voice. We do not edit you for message discipline, and you are free to disagree with us publicly. Clinical disagreement between ambassadors is welcome and expected — families benefit from hearing more than one careful view.

We may edit for warmth, clarity and length. We will never change your clinical meaning without asking you first.

3. Where the line sits

Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequence for content that could harm or distress a vulnerable parent. Content must not:

  • • Contradict current national safety guidance (safer sleep, infant feeding safety, vaccination schedules, medication dosing) in a way that could cause harm.
  • • Promote or disparage any religion, or present a parenting practice as a religious obligation.
  • • Denigrate anyone on grounds of race, ethnicity, nationality, disability, sexuality, gender identity, family structure, or feeding method.
  • • Present absolutist parenting ideology as clinical fact.
  • • Promote MLM schemes, unregulated supplements, or any product you are paid to place without clear disclosure.
  • • Describe trauma, birth injury or baby loss without a content warning.
  • • Give individual diagnosis or treatment advice to a named parent in a public space.

Where guidance genuinely differs between countries or bodies, say so plainly rather than picking a side silently.

4. Tone

Plain English. No shaming. "Some families find…" rather than "you must…". Assume the reader is exhausted, worried, and doing their best at 3am. We edit for warmth, and that is the only editorial habit we will impose on you.

5. Webinars

Free is the default. Most ambassador webinars are free to attend. We host the registration page, collect attendee details with explicit opt-in consent, send reminders, and publish the replay. That costs you nothing and we take nothing.

Paid webinars are by application. If you'd like to charge for a session, tell us when you apply or any time afterwards. You set your own price, you can switch back to free whenever you like, and you keep your list. Circle takes a 10% platform fee on paid tickets plus payment processing (roughly 1.5% + 20p), so you keep around 88%. We take 0% on everything that is free.

You may also record a short introduction video for your profile — we suggest between 5 and 15 minutes. Long enough for parents to get a sense of you, short enough to actually be watched.

6. Audience, consent and the shared benefit

Every registration collects a name and email with explicit opt-in. Nothing is ever bought, sold or passed on without that consent. Attendees choose whether to hear from Circle, from you, or from both.

The programme compounds. Twenty ambassadors each bringing their own audience to a session means a nutritionist's attendees may meet a sleep specialist next month, and a pelvic health physio the month after. You gain reach you could not buy alone; Circle gains sign-ups; parents get better help. That is the whole model.

7. Concerns and complaints

Anything — a piece of content, another ambassador, something we've done — goes to care@circlebabycare.com.

We respond within 5 working days. The first step is always a conversation, never removal. If we do have to withdraw content we will tell you why in writing, and you keep the right to publish it elsewhere.

8. Verification

We check registration and certification before approving anyone (NMC, HCPC, IBCLC, BDA or equivalent). You agree to tell us if your registration status changes.
